ekip Engine
Our “ekip Engine” is an elaborated process where we co-create policy recommendations with board groups of stakeholders. Built on open innovation, it sparks engagement, builds awareness, gathers feedback, and empowers people to shape policies that through innovation drive societal change.
To support innovation across Europe, ekip has developed a policy platform designed to strengthen cultural and creative ecosystems through collaboration and knowledge sharing. The ekip platform brings this to life through three interconnected components:
A network of networks. We connect creatives, cities, policymakers, researchers, and institutions across Europe—building a vibrant and evolving network committed to cultural and creative-led innovation.
The ekip observatory. We explore and gather data on emerging challenges, opportunities, and trends—translating complexity into insight. These findings are openly shared through the ekip Observatory to support learning and awareness.
The ekip policy engine. At the heart of the platform, the ekip Engine is a collaborative process that turns community insights into policy recommendations. Through participatory labs, city assessments, and real-world experimentation, we accelerate the adoption of open innovation led by the cultural and creative sectors.
