This lab will examine how Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) can accelerate deep-tech innovation, from sense-making and user experience to adoption, experimentation, and ecosystem building. At the same time, we will explore how deep-tech capabilities can open new creative, cultural, and economic possibilities for CCIs.

Together, we will identify where these two domains meet, what each gains from the other, and how EU innovation policy can strengthen this relationship within open innovation ecosystems.

The main objective of the Policy Lab is to develop clear, actionable EU policy recommendations to support this emerging space and build stronger, more future-ready innovation pathways for Europe.
