AI and Cultural and Creative Industries

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) offers vast opportunities but also poses significant challenges. How can AI’s growing role in the cultural and creative sector break down silos and foster interdisciplinary collaboration? What skills must the CCIs develop to stay competitive, and how can traditional creative talents adapt? These questions were at the heart of ekip’s first policy lab on “AI and the Cultural and Creative Industries,” which focused on exploring AI’s impact, especially for smaller players, and co-creating policy recommendations for innovation within the ecosystem. This lab marks a key step in ekip’s policy formulation process, and its policy recommendations will form part of ekip’s outreach efforts.
