The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) offers vast opportunities but also poses significant challenges. How can AI’s growing role in the CCIs break down silos and foster interdisciplinary collaboration? What skills can CCI professionals develop to stay competitive, and how can traditional creative talents adapt? These questions were at the heart of ekip’s first policy lab on “AI and the Cultural and Creative Industries,” which focused on exploring AI’s impact, especially for smaller players, and co-creating policy recommendations for innovation within the ecosystem.
ekip helps policymakers, creatives, and ecosystem actors design better innovation systems—starting with culture and creativity.

In ekip, open innovation means starting with collaboration, not competition. We focus on early-stage, cross-sector work where diverse actors (including creatives) frame problems, test ideas, and shape policy together. It's not about keeping solutions proprietary—it's about building ecosystems where innovation grows through shared knowledge and trust.
