VENUE:

TU Delft, Design and AI Symposium

TIME:

11:00 AM – 1:00 PM CET

DESCRIPTION:

The ekip Policy Corner aimed to encourage participants to reflect on the possible positive and negative consequences of artificial intelligence (AI) in the CCIs and to translate these reflections into potential policy recommendations. Participants, mainly design and AI researchers along with some practitioners, worked in small groups throughout a series of structured exercises.

The first exercise focused on exploring utopian and dystopian futures involving AI. Participants worked in groups and discussed how AI might influence creative processes and collaboration with stakeholders such as clients and technology companies.

In the second exercise, participants compared the positive and negative futures and identified key needs and possible policy responses using the OPSI model.

The session concluded with a presentation on research findings about AI and the creative industries. This was intended to stimulate discussion and allow participants to share their insights.
