Which are the ways in which ekip´s Observatory collects data?
The Observatory has developed three streams of data collection:
Through Social Listening
We identify key seed profiles across various social networks, actively listening to the conversations spanning multiple sectors of these industries. By closely monitoring these networks, we gain valuable insights into emerging trends, evolving priorities, and the new professions and jobs that are taking shape in this dynamic landscape. Using these insights, we develop comprehensive reports that provide data-driven forsights and actionable recommendations, helping stakeholders stay ahead of industry shifts and prepare for the future.
Through POLICY CORNERS
We organise physical and online meetings with stakeholders to dig deep into specific issues and identify key problems that our stakeholders are facing in specific ecosystems and territories. We use social listening to gather insights from different groups—such as experts, the public, and other stakeholders—so we can clearly understand the main challenges and opportunities.
Once we’ve gathered enough information, we organise Policy Corners. These are meetings where we bring together people from within our network and beyond to explore solutions and ideas. The Policy Corners are both explorative, where we discover new perspectives, and generative, where we create potential solutions together.
We host these Policy Corners in various cities across Europe, where there are already active communities involved in the topic we’re studying. Through these events, we receive valuable feedback and suggestions about which policies are most important in different fields. Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that the policies we help develop are informed by real-world insights, making them relevant and impactful across different areas of society.
Through DESK RESEARCH
Mapping and understanding existing policy recommendations that have already been identified by previous EU projects gives us an overview of existing knowledge. The goal is to collect and analyse these recommendations so that we don’t duplicate efforts or overlook important existing ideas. Once we have this information, we organise it into a knowledge bank. This resource helps ensure that we build on previous work, amplifying what has been already investigated and creating policies that are both fresh and well-informed.
