Learning: Skills needs and gaps in the CCSI

The report “Skills Needs and Gaps in the CCSI” examines the practical use of soft, technical, entrepreneurial, and managerial skills across various professions in the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI) in nine countries. It aims to identify current and future skills needs and gaps. The analysis provides insights and recommendations for policymakers to address skill mismatches and fully leverage the potential of the CCSI sector.

The report “Policy Recommendations for the Suitability, Visibility, and Accessibility of CCSI-Relevant Employment Information in European Statistics and ESCO” addresses the need for better representation of Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI) in labor market taxonomies and statistical frameworks. Developed by the Creative FLIP project and its partners, the report highlights gaps in current data and offers solutions to enhance the clarity and accessibility of CCSI employment information in European statistics and the multilingual classification of European Skills, Competences and Occupations (ESCO) classification. Its goal is to improve how CCSI roles are recognized and supported across Europe.
