Cultural and creative industries enabling green transition
The European Cultural and Creative Industries Innovation Policy Platform consortium (ekip) launches its second policy lab, bringing together cultural and creative industries and policymakers for a day of learning, exchange, and co-creation to shape concrete policy recommendations supporting the role of CCIs in the green transition.
Over the past decade, the role of cultural and creative industries (CCIs) in the green transition has increasingly been recognised by sector organisations and policymakers. The New European Bauhaus is an interdisciplinary flagship initiative that bridges science and technology with art and culture to address complex societal challenges through co-creation.
This policy lab examines how research and innovation funding opportunities involve CCIs as agents of change in driving green innovation across sectors.
ekip is an EU-funded flagship project applying open innovation principles to develop a policy recommendation engine driven by partners and over 40 CCI networks. The engine supports CCIs in participating in complex innovation processes through continuous policy development and guidance.
The policy lab takes place in person on April 15, 2024 (9:30–17:00) in Brussels at 40, Rue Joseph II, 1000 Brussels.
Participants are invited to express interest by March 15. Attendance is subject to confirmation due to limited availability.
